Bernd
Security Guard
The Reinweiß family's security guard, employed to watch the manor's front gate and keep out unwelcome visitors. He has a pleasant, easygoing personality, although some people say he's not as nice as he seems...
Lynn Reinweiß and Arne Neuntöte couldn't be more different. One is a normal girl
living a lonely life in her family's mansion. The other is an immortal vampire.
But their worlds are about to collide. There's a murderer on the loose, and if
these unlikely allies don't act fast, Lynn could be the next victim...

A kind, hardworking young maid. She's like an older sister to Lynn, but her alibi is pretty weak.
Klaus' personal maid. She's very clumsy and makes a lot of mistakes, but her heart is in the right place. She was seen trying to hide something in the storage room.
A cheery young man who tends the manor's grounds. He's spent so much time with the guard dogs that they don't bark or growl when they see him. He appears to have feelings for Diana.
The Reinweiß family butler. He's been serving the household faithfully for many years, and is the very picture of respectability. He didn't look all that upset to learn his employer was dead, though...
A skilled chef who oversees all the meals served at the manor. He reported seeing a suspicious figure in the garden around the time of the murder. No one has been able to verify this yet.
Elise is the only one who could have done it.
She broke the vase on purpose to give her an excuse to go to the storeroom,
then crawled through the air vent to the victim's room, where she killed him.
I think Gordon is the killer. It's very suspicious that he wasn't the least bit sad that Lynn's father was dead. He probably had help from Heinz - the two of them could have carried the ladder to Klaus' window together. Plus, they could use that time to review their alibis and make sure they'd stand up to scrutiny.
When Lynn was attacked in the bath, she said it felt like she'd been scratched by some kind of animal. Besides Lynn and her father, Kai has the most experience with the guard dogs. He could have made them attack her somehow.
Diana and Kai are the only ones who had opportunity. The murder must have occurred around the time Bernd fainted from seeing the blood and Elise called everyone together, or else someone would have seen it happen. Diana was the only one there at the time, so she must be the murderer.
He reminds me of someone out of Psycho-Pass.
Also, he has a lot of confidence in his cooking, and could have gotten Klaus to give him leftovers from the ritual to use.
The vampire revival stuff could just be another way for him to get new cooking ingredients.
He could also have slipped something in Lynn's tea to give it a particular odor that would make the dogs attack her.
I have two main reasons. Firstly, he's already been proven guilty of stealing, but hardly showed any remorse. It wouldn't be a stretch for him to move on to murder, especially when everyone hated Lynn's father so much.
Also, when everyone was being questioned he got frustrated and started clicking his tongue - probably the same sound we heard when Lynn was killed.
Elise is small enough to get into the room through the air vents. She could have used a shard from the broken vase to attack Lynn.
When Bernd discovered the body, they had to use the master key to get inside. This leads me to suspect whoever had the room's original key.
Gordon is also the only one who could have known about Diana and Kai meeting up.
1. He had motive for the murder.
2. He's the only one who knows the dogs well enough to make them attack someone.
3. He'd have plenty of gardening tools he could use as weapons.
Kai knows the guard dogs well, but they'd probably also listen to Diana, since they've seen how much Kai cares about her. She could have ordered them to kill Lynn, who they'd be mad at for hurting Kai anyway.
Lynn's injury was made with a blade, which narrows the suspects down to Kai or Heinz.
Kai's alibi can be corroborated by Elise, so he's out.
Heinz uses blood in his cooking a lot, so he'd be able to use it to get the dogs to attack Lynn.
Given how unnaturally he was acting, Bernd MUST be the killer. It couldn't possibly be anyone else.
